Coconut Shell Carbonization Process Using Smokeless Kiln

Proper processing of coconut shell charcoal can be highly economically and environmentally valuable. The two most common uses are activated carbon briquettes, obtained through carbonization. However, traditional carbonization methods involving kilns produce excessive smoke, polluting the environment disrupting human activities. A kiln that produces less smoke is required to address this issue. In study, a made from steel drum with sealer belt was fabricated trap burning inside kiln. results showed adding effectively reduced produced, making it more eco-friendly. Regarding production efficiency, different weigh shells were burnt charcoal. result 25 kg optimal, producing 48% content.
